In this class, you will learn the process of nuno felting on a silk scarf with different wools to make a beautiful wearable piece of art! You will learn the basic process of wet felting and we will discuss what to look for when looking for fibres for a felting project. You will receive a gold scarf base colour. We have a large selection of different colours for students to choose from for felting the scarf.

Your registration fee includes the materials you need: a silk scarf, approximately 50 grams of fibres ( merino, silk, locks) and step by step guidance to create a wearable piece of art. For this class please bring a bath sized towel.

Please note that nuno felting is a physical process and you will be on your feet and moving, so wear comfortable, supportive shoes (concrete floor). As well, fine motor skills are needed to fibre placement. Please bring your own water bottle and snacks/lunch.
