Double Knitting
Double knitting creates a two-layer fabric, usually knit in two colours to create a reversible fabric where each side is a mirror of each other in stockinette. There are two basic ways to knit this double-sided fabric. We’ll cover both techniques in the first session, as well as yarn management, basic structure of double-knit fabric, how to read chart patterns & tips for how to knit this technique successfully. In the second session, we’ll look at cast-on options and start on the project you’ve chosen to knit.
Skills will be taught and demonstrated right- and left-handed, if needed.
