MEASURE TWICE, MAYBE THRICE: when to measure gauge & how to do it.

In this lecture, we’ll discuss what a swatch is, when to knit/crochet a swatch, as well as the kind of information a swatch provides. We’ll also cover how to count and measure gauge from prep to finished project. If you’re ready to dive into the subject of swatching, there will be lots of swatches (worked in different stitches), colour combinations, and range of sizes to see and talk about.

Skill Level: have some experience in either knitting/crochet stitching.

Materials Required: none. Bring a notebook and pen (optional) if you want to take notes.
